Ann was a ground breaker in the south Florida music community. It was an honor to have worked with her and known her. Eric Schilling

I have the fondest memories of Ann. We had a very brief relationship in 1979. I remember her little house near Criteria where she lived by herself. She was such a quiet and humble person. I knew she played bass but she would never play in front of me until one night when she & I had had some wine, she picked up the Fender and tore off a couple of runs that left me speechless. Rest In Peace, dear Ann...

Ann and I were born 1 month a part....What a fun time we had in our band when we were 16/17 in 1971 and playing gigs at frat houses at the University of Miami with Steve Mele...We were rehearsing in her parents living room when the local news paper heard of us and did a small feature on us..Anne was an incredible talent and beautiful person...I spoke to Steve Mele many times with the idea of us all getting together for a dinner...I guess we will have to wait till we get to Heaven...I respect your talent and good heart Ann...I love you...Kitty Terry

Talk about accommodating, facilitating and cooperating with an attitude of gratitude, that’s Ann Holloway’s natural persona. Committed to the hilt towards whatever the mission… always in the best interest of harmony (pun intended), forward motion, and timeless quality. Doggone it Annie, why you gotta go so soon? Big hug to brother Tom (can’t imagine what you’re going through)… like your sister, you’re good people. The reliable, responsible, and resourceful Holloways. On a personal note, i’m not so sure “What You Won’t do for Love” would’ve felt the way it does had Ann not been there.

I am so sorry the family has lost Ann. Praying for God’s comfort and peace for all of you.

I grew up three streets over from Ann and she was an adolescent friend. Although she 2 years younger than me, we overlapped in high school and I drove her to school my senior year. She loved motorcycles and would often ride my Honda 750, although she really was aga over Triumphs. A few years later we overlapped at the University of Florida and she was my roommate (non-romantic) for one quarter. She finally owned a Triumph Trident café racer in Gainesville, but disappeared back to Miami a few months later. I last talked with her in the early eighties when she was considering moving to Seattle. Last I heard she went to Hawaii and I lost track of her. I would have loved to have known her adult life and her children. She was a special person.

Rest in peace, and thank you for "Do For Love". A piece of the universe that needed instantiation.

RIP Ann--- She was very generous with her time. I am VERY GRATEFUL for that. We played a gig together at a small cafe and needless to say her musicianship was EXCELLENT!!!
